warning: slight spoilers for season 2 of the anime! This also takes place in Paradis (s1-2ish).

“Do you think it’s out there?“ you whisper, your hand reaching out towards the clouds above you.

Reiner your boyfriend of almost a year, lays beside you, his head propped up behind bent elbows.

Your eyes are still fixated on the white puffs above you as he slowly turns to you. You don’t see how his eyes soften when they wander down to your lips, your smile bright and present.

“What do you mean?” you hear him mutter, and you swear you hear just a hint of sadness in his tone.

“One day, I want to get out of these walls, somewhere far away,” you pause, “so that we can be together, live out our lives without the fear of getting eaten alive by titans and maybe even start a family.”

“Doesn’t that sound nice?” you ask him as you turn to him.

He stares at you in silence, and you raise an eyebrow at him in concern when you see his expression change from stoic to one of many mixed emotions.

“Reiner?” you ask, sitting up in concern as you bring a gentle hand to his cheek, caressing it with soft strokes of your thumb. “You okay?”

You watch in silence as he tucks his face into your palm.

You open your mouth again to say something when he lets out a breathy laugh while he glances up at you.

“Yes baby, that sounds amazing.”

You smile back at him before leaning in and pressing a quick kiss to his lips before laying back down, this time with your head on his chest.

You let out a content sigh when you feel a hand going through your hair.

“Goodnight Reiner.” you whisper to him as you’re lulled to sleep, a small smile painted on your face.

if only you noticed the gentle shakes of his body and the tears falling down his cheeks.

Please let me know if you guys want more Reiner content and I will definitely write some more stuff for him when I get the chance!!!

It seems like I’m on my FF7 arc of interest. So here is both Argento and Rosso. It’s my first time actually drawing Rosso. Perhaps I’ll draw more Tsviets in the near future. Drawing Rosso’s weapon was quite the experience…and a pain in the ass…😅
